Where to Use It — and Why

  • Body and after-shower care: Massage a small amount into slightly damp arms, legs, shoulders, and torso. The oils soften the skin's surface and help slow moisture loss, leaving dry-feeling skin smoother with a natural-looking glow.

  • Hands, feet, elbows, knees, and heels: Work a little extra into intact skin that feels rough or dry. Emollient oils smooth and soften these areas, improving how the skin feels without needing a heavy application everywhere.

  • Face and neck: For facial skin that tolerates oils, start with a drop over your usual moisturizer, keeping clear of the eyes. The blend adds softness and helps retain moisture. Adjust the amount to your skin; a little goes a long way.

  • Cuticles and nail surrounds: Massage a drop around the nails. Conditioning oils soften dry cuticles and surrounding skin, helping the area look smoother and better groomed.

  • Hair lengths, ends, curls, and flyaways: Warm one or two drops between your palms and smooth through damp or dry lengths and ends. A light oil coating adds slip and shine, softens dry-feeling strands, and can help smooth the appearance of frizz and flyaways. Use less on fine hair.

  • Pre-shampoo hair conditioning: Smooth a small amount through the lengths and ends before washing, then shampoo out. This gives dry-feeling hair a conditioning oil treatment without leaving as much oil in the finished style.

  • Beard and the skin beneath: Massage a few drops through a clean beard, then comb through. The oils soften coarse-feeling beard hair, add a groomed shine, and moisturize the underlying skin.

  • Scalp massage: If your scalp tolerates oils, massage a small amount onto intact, non-irritated scalp before shampooing, then wash out. This conditions dry-feeling surface skin and provides slip for a gentle massage.

  • Body massage: Use enough for comfortable glide over intact skin. The oils reduce rubbing and tugging during massage while leaving the skin feeling conditioned and soft.

The Benefits of Our 11 Oils

Each oil contributes to the blend's conditioning feel. These profiles describe the oils' general cosmetic properties; the amount you use, your skin, and your hair type affect the finish.

  • Jojoba: A liquid wax rich in wax esters, jojoba adds a soft, smooth feel to skin and cuticles. It also conditions hair and beard hair, helping them feel softer and look shinier.

  • Moringa: An emollient oil known for its oleic-acid-rich profile and easy spread. It helps soften dry-feeling skin and adds conditioning slip to hair, making it useful for body care, dry ends, and beard grooming.

  • Black Raspberry Seed: Known for its linoleic and alpha-linolenic fatty acids and naturally occurring tocopherols. It contributes conditioning oils that help dry-feeling skin feel softer and more supple.

  • Argan: Rich in oleic and linoleic fatty acids, argan helps skin retain moisture and feel supple. In hair and beard care, it adds softness, shine, and a smoother-looking finish.

  • Tamanu: A skin- and hair-conditioning oil that brings an emollient feel to the blend. It helps soften rough-feeling skin and leaves hair feeling more supple and looking glossy.

  • Perilla Seed: Known for its high alpha-linolenic acid content, an omega-3 fatty acid. It contributes to the blend's skin-conditioning feel and helps leave dry areas feeling softer and smoother.

  • MCT Coconut: This coconut-derived oil contributes smooth spreading, slip, and a soft skin feel. Its role is emollient conditioning; it is a different ingredient from whole coconut oil.

  • Green Coffee Bean: Known for its linoleic and palmitic fatty acids, green coffee oil is used as an emollient. It contributes to skin softness and helps the blend reduce moisture loss for a smoother, more supple feel.

Make the Most of Every Drop

Start with a small amount and add only what you need. On skin, apply after bathing or over a water-based moisturizer: oils help hold onto existing moisture and soften the surface. On hair and beard hair, concentrate on the areas that feel dry and need softness or shine. Wash your hands before dispensing, and keep water out of the bottle.

Contains botanical nut and seed oils. Patch test before first use, and avoid any ingredient you are allergic to. For external use only. Keep away from eyes, mucous membranes, broken skin, and irritated areas. Stop use if irritation occurs.
